  • When should I book for my makeup?
I advise booking 2 months before, but registering your interest for the date using my online booking system and adding your details to the waitlist for your desired date as early as possible. My in studio bookings open 2 months before, but any bridal bookings can be taken further in advance and I advise booking your wedding makeup as early as you can. My 2024 diary is filling up and I only have a few key dates left, my 2025 diary is now open for wedding makeup too.
  • Will my makeup last if I have it done early?
Yes! I tailor my makeup to suit your skin type and to make sure it lasts as long as possible. Some of my clients have even made their makeup last 2 days!
  • If I have a large bridal party that need to be ready fairly early will you be able to do us all?
Yes! I have a support artist that I work with on a regular basis, who has been trained by me. She can do half the bridal party as I focus on the bride and a few other members of your party.
  • Do you travel?
I usually work in my studio in Berkhamsted however I am mobile Tuesday-Thursday for makeup bookings. I can also do mobile on weekends, but I do require a minimum of the bride and 3 others to travel Friday-Sundays. Please get in touch for a mobile quote.
  • Are you qualified or self taught?
I am fully qualified and have a Diploma in Makeup Artistry
  • Do you offer lessons?
Yes! I offer 1:1 lessons for makeup artists of all skill levels and also for people looking to perfect their own makeup and help it last.
  • Why is bridal a different price to an occassion makeup?
For bridal Makeup I am required to go to a location, meaning a minimum spend for me to take a bridal booking is necessary at peak times, as I am taking a day out of my studio to come to you bright and early and taking time to travel to the location and back. I only take one wedding per day so I will be turning away other normal bookings as well as other bridal bookings for your date. The bride is the main attraction of the day and needs to feel extra special. Bridal makeup is a much more bespoke service. Every detail of the brides makeup is carefully discussed with the bride so everything is perfect. I stay until the entire party is ready to go and give touch ups where needed before they head off to the service, this is all included. I allow a lot longer for trials so this needs to be accounted for, I also have specific software to help me manage my bridal enquiries as well as an admin team to help me respond to brides in good time. My prices reflect my skill level, qualifications, experience and the demand for my services. For Friday - Sunday weddings the minimum is £480 (this includes the trial, the bride on the day, 3 bridesmaids.) Travel is an additional £50.
  • How do I book my wedding?
Fill out the bridal enquiries form on my contact section on my website, I will then send over a quote for your wedding if I am available. Once you have chosen your package you can then sign your contract and pay the retainer to secure the date. If you want to book a trial before securing your date please do so as soon as possible as I am unable to hold the date without the retainer.
  • How do I book for brows/occasion makeup?
Visit my online booking system for in studio bookings. If you require mobile makeup please enquire using my contact page.
  • Do you do hairstyling too?
I can do basic hairstyling like curls, I only do this in studio when I have time between my bookings. For weddings I can recommend a few fantastic hairdressers.
